Can I get copyright issues for images like these?

They've gotten in some trouble before, the hard part is when they steal from individuals (which is often what they do) and not companies. It's not always easy, or cheap, for someone to take on a large corporation. It's unfortunate that they get away with it when it is a crime. That's why I don't shop there either x/

I'm sorry to confuse you xc I really would look into fair use. You might find something useful there. If not for this video, then at least for future videos :)

copyright dot gov/fls/fl102.html
en.wikipedia dot org/wiki/Fair_use

As sbrewer said though, you could probably get away with it anyway. The point of my posts was just to educate on the technical side. There can be quite a bit of leeway with copyright, especially involving fair use. IMO, you could probably use it and be just fine.

Okay, I think I get it. I'll put the cats in my video xD hopefully it will be okay

This is why i DRAW most things in my videos

Lets just hope no one says anything about paintings of scientists who have departed from this world :/ that would be rather annoying

I can understand that ;)

That all goes back to fair use and public domain. Depending on when the painting was made, it could be in the public domain by now. If not, then you'd have to use it under 'fair use', if possible.

Though depending on how you depict them, I doubt people would have a problem with that either.

Hope that helps, good luck with the video! :D

If all else fails... just know we won't be the ones to report ya! :p ;)

In all honesty you should be fine :)

The creator of the troll-face has staked his copyright, but lets little things slide. And honestly, it's ALL over the place.

It all depends on how much money you're making with the content that has the trollface in it. If you are a baller, he will come for your money. Can't pluck a chicken without feathers.

People let stuff slide, and realistically, it would probably be okay... But, I'd browse the creative commons for something to use in its place:

There are all sorts of cute cat things out there, like this:

Or more what you were going for might be like this..
