can i disable 'send message' in about page?

Hi guys. I have another youtube brand channel (not this one) where I want to completely disable the function for someone to send me a private message via the 'about' page. I can't figure out how to do this on the about page. I am trying to do something thats not possible??

I notice if i click the gear icon within customise channel i can turn off the slider that says 'Customize the layout of your channel'.. then just 'home' appears. which is great but will my videos still show up when i upload some?

I don't think there is a way to disable messaging on YouTube, I think it's just a function that is built in.

People on YouTube don't really use the message function and you could always put in your description that this is a branded account and to send any business stuff to your main channel!
