Can I be a bigger YouTuber without showing my face?

As a special idea for my Subscribers I am reaching a good landmark and thought of giving the viewers a special video where I dress as a masked Superhero. At least the viewers will get to see me.... I have a good build and work out and I would really put some extras in too.

Any thoughts on my subject would be real helpful.

I have personally never shown my face in a video and currently have over 11,000 subscribers so I wouldn't say that it is a necessity. Best of luck to you!
 
I rarely show my face in my videos. It is 100% possible! However, since I don't show my face that often, engaging viewers through my vocal tones is pretty important... gotta show that you're excited about the content you're putting out, since they can't see you.
 
It's easy? No. It's possible? Yes. There is a bunch of youtubers out there that never shown their face but they managed to obtain enough visibility (seems a pun, uh?). One that comes in my mind is Cryaotic, and the other replied with other examples. It's possible!

Of course you can do it without showing your face! I love watching a bunch of people like GradeAUnderA who only just recently showed his face. I think probably a good thing to think about is giving them a visual aspect to the video. You don't have to show your face, but you should give viewers something interesting to watch while they listen. I hope this helps; I can't really relate, but I wish you the best of luck!
