Camera Suggestions PLEASE! WIlling To Up Budget If Worth It

yes what they said but i shoot with a nikon d5100 but a lot of folks on the yt shoot with cannons
 
I use a Sony HDR-CX260V, and I would highly recommend it. Looks great, has an audio jack for an external microphone, a bunch of settings, and is just generally great.
 
Thanks for all of the suggestions everyone! I'm looking them all up now and hopefully I'll narrow it down to 1 or 2 within the next few days!
 
Yeah I've heard good things about the Nikon DSLR series. I think for Audio plug ins, Blue Microphones do a mint standalone (Yeti Series - with instant feedback, audio jack and USB input). It's about 90 quid, so not TOO expensive if you want a proper sound.

I've wanted to get a proper Nikon for a while, but the cost is a little prohibitive (especially as I've just got a mac for editing... #FirstWorldProblems!).
 
Alright everyone, I'm on the fence between the Canon T3i and the Canon T5i. They're both over my budget, but they seem to be great investments because I can use them for both video and stock photography (what I've wanted to get into for a while).

Let me know which of the two you would prefer, and the reasons behind the choice. Sorry if I sound like I'm being demanding LOL.
