Camera shopping help...

Thank you guys i bought the canon eos t4i. I hope its a good one.

Yeh that's a good one! Same as mine, although its called the 650D over here.
The plus points are continual autofocus while recording video and a touch screen that swivels so you can see exactly what you're recording.

Which lens did you get? Is it a STM lens? This will make the autofocus completely silent.

Now all you need is a decent mic. The camera built in ones don't cut it!

No that's not the STM lens.
I purchased mine with the 18-135mm STM lens as I didn't want autofocus noise in my video. However, considering I use an external lapel mic it doesn't make a difference anyway!
You'll be fine with that lens for now, but I'd recommend an external mic. The internal ones on DSLRs aren't that great, and because its so close to the lens it will pick up autofocus noise.
Also, use a class10 SDHC card. It's needed for 1080p. I use a sandisk ultra 32GB Class 10 card and have no problems.

Depending on how much you're willing to spend, you can always go with pretty much the staple camera for Youtubers: Canon 60D.

And as far as Final Cut Pro X goes, the few people i've talked to about it said they like the older version better, because X has become a much more simplified version. I've never used either one though.
