Camera lenses

Sure, everyone has a camera need to have 2 type lens right? Zoom and normal.
Because we don't know if our target is close or far. :wacky2::wacky2::wacky2:
This one is a prime lens? (Canon EF 50mm F1.8 II Lens Portrait Lens)[DOUBLEPOST=1405527397,1405527326][/DOUBLEPOST]
Oh, that's great man. Thanks a lot. :p
Yep that's a prime, I have that one and I really like it :D It's my main lens now for all my videos :)

The 50mm f1.8 lens that was suggested earlier in this thread might actually not the best lens for the body that you are purchasing. Since you appear to be interested in a 70D, the camera has a 'cropped sensor' which means that the sensor is smaller than a 'full frame' variety. This means that the 50mm focal length would be converted to a 70-ish mm length which is fairy 'zoomed in'. While more expensive, perhaps look for a 28 or 35mm prime lens as the 50mm one might be a bit narrow.

Now my final decision for beginning is Canon 70D and the kit II lenses (18-135 mm stm)
What do you think about it?

Thats a pretty good place to start, you offer yourself a lot more range aswell as a much better lens. Generally 18-55mm are awful for filming, the sharpness just isent there and even when something looks in focus its a bit meh. so the 18-135 is a tad better than that and good for starting off.

Taking that into consideration its still a fantastic lens for starting off, with the price and and the aperture it will offer you for depth of field and stuff its a fantastic lens to start off with.

That said if you tend to film a lot in small places, then don't bother because of the 50mm and the crop.

I personally run around with a T1.5 35mm Samyang video lens aswell as the Tokina F2.8 11-16mm for any wide angles

Yeah I agree with everyone about the 50mm. I've been doing photography for a few years now and my 50mm 1.4 has been a blessing and a curse. I love it for portraits and filming outside. But when in my room and doing vlogs it can be a huge pain in the butt. I would recommend the Canon 24mm f/2.8 wide angle prime lens(older version). It may not seem very wide but it will work perfect. With a crop sensor it comes out as a 38mm, but is actually wide enough for videos. The aperture may not be as big as the 50mm 1.8, but 2.8 is perfect because you don't want anything too wide open. At 1.8 the depth of field is very thin and you can easily fall out of focus by leaning forward or backwards. You will still get the ideal "blurry" background so cheers!
Also it may be a little big of a price, but that is the norm in photography. If you want something good that will get the job done, then a few extra bucks (or a lot of extra bucks) will be good in the long run!
