Camcorder Recommendations?

Hello Everyone!

I'm looking into getting a camcorder, because my webcam is getting pretty old, can only do 720p and is NOT mobile enough for capturing things beyond what I do at my desk.

I was wondering if anyone had some advice on what to look for in a Camcorder. I'm looking to use it for capturing facecam footage for video games, as well as using it for vlogs.

This one looks decent, but then again, I'm not too up on camcorders nowadays, which is why I came to you lovely folks

It depends really on the value of what I'm getting, not necessarily the price. If that makes sense.

I'm not spending 300 bucks on one though haha.

Tell me your max, your best bet is most probably getting something secondhand on ebay.

Might I ask why you are wanting a camcorder? In my experience Digital Cameras and DSLR's always have better quality than camcorders.
I use a Canon ELPH 300hs for vlogging. I bought it for a 100 and it shoots 1080p, very compact, good audio and does slowmo.

its not all in the resolution it shoots, more in the sensor. You can have 4K footage look terrible.

I've read that the 190 falsely advertises at 1080p, when it's actually 1080i.

I'll look more into the 220 tonight when I have time.

They're cheap and capture video, but don't buy the Sony Handycam HDR-CX190, CX200 or CX210 thinking that you're getting a great bargain on a real HD camcorder. If you're going to buy one, get the cheapest; nothing on any of these is really worth the extra bucks. 220 might , read some reviews!
