Calling YouTube 'work'

Is he a known player? I enjoy poker but online poker is no longer legal in the USA.
Now that I have resigned from my Postal job, I can enter some of the local 2-3 day tourneys.
I actually don't know. It sounds like he is (European player though) but we only meet like once a year and then I avoid talking about "work" with him :)
Especially because his GF is always so happy that they're finally away from the computer.

I sorta get what you mean, my folks don't really understand my Youtube stuff at all except for that I make money from it, and their way of asking if I've made anymore videos is "Have you been to work?" which is a bit weird I think :P

I agree with everyone about work not having to be boring! The thing is, If your lucky enough to be calling youtube 'work' I think thats pretty sweet! I want YouTube to be my job soon, But I know with hard work, dedication and having fun I could get to that position of calling it work one day. If you understand what I mean that it!

Some people make enough from Youtube that they can call it their job and thus "work". For people in the entertainment industry work doesn't have to mean 8 hours plowing the fields. I think it is work to come up with fresh content and stay relevant on Youtube.

If you love what you do, it's not considered "work". :)
I see what you mean but you could also see it the other way round. Like "Work can be fun, too" ;)
Work has a negative connotation for many. Like something you have to do, to earn money for living. But it can also be somthing you WANT to do and love to do.

@AmbossTV Well if people think that work only means that you're reporting for duty somewhere else, I'm not working anymore. Sunday was my last day at the Post Office. Now it is on to lots of 'fun' time on YouTube.

I think you should go into making YouTube videos just because you enjoy it, not because you have dollar signs in your eyes. I mean, if you put the time in and it becomes rewarding enough for you to earn money, then I'd say go for it. As long as you're still doing it for fun.

I'd love to make YouTube video's full-time and get enough to live off of. Having fun and earning money? No brainer!
