Bullied For Playing Minecraft

Wow, how can everyone say "tell an adult". That would be the most p***y thing to do. It's your problem, solve it yourself. If you like Minecraft tell them to their face, "minecraft is f*****g awesome". If they go to hit you go berserk on them, I'm guessing your a kid if this isn't a troll post so it's not like you guys will do much damage unarmed anyways. After you fight you may become friends, happens a lot.

Seriously? telling an adult is not the "p***y" thing to do. It's the right thing. Not everyone is strong enough to fight back, you know.

I've already said this...

This thread can be CLOSED.
I contacted the police and the bully has been given a RESTRAINING ORDER. Meaning he CANNOT GET CLOSE TO ME.
He has also been excluded from school for TWO MONTHS.

Thanks for all your help but further discussion is no longer required. Thankyou.

I'm delighted that this is resolved but the thread can stay open. Everyone is free to discuss this. That is how forums work. :)

Fighting back doesn't have to be physical like I said though, there are many ways to fight back/stay strong without resorting to snitching.

I appreciate people like to discuss... But I don'tw ant any more people discussing this event in my life... It's over now and I want to forget about it, not see notifications about it every day. I'd appreciate it if you could close the thread. Thanks.

"Snitching" as you call it, is the right thing to do.

"Snitching"? Wow, see it's people like you that help perpetuate bullying in the first place. It's not snitching. It's reporting physical assault, which is against the law.

I was bullied, most people are at some point. If not by peers than by siblings or parents even.

There is a big difference between being pushed or smacked and being flattened by real fists; I don't think our emasculated society can see it. It is negative energy all the same, but if you can't even stand up to some child bullies...

Also, I find it deeply disturbing when people make fun of others for disabilities and things they can't really change. I don't have as much empathy for people who get made fun of for what they like. If you like to play video games have some conviction. Let's say I like to do ballet. I will do ballet and if someone laughs at me how can it affect me if it is truly what I enjoy? There is no need to let strangers define you, it's all about your frame, either you have a solid frame or you are drawn into others'. This is something you can change instantaneously, just focus on it, be in the present.

Well I was punched with real fists. Usually the biggest of them would hold me down, and the rest would punch and kick until I was black and blue all over. I'd regularly have black eyes. I was very small and very weak for my age and I had no way to defend myself against them. My only options were to either continue to take a regular beating, or to get the police involved to stop them. I'm sorry if that makes me a p***y and a snitch, but so be it.
