I wasn't aware of that myself, I had always assumed they counted. Either way it is still good having autoplay on as it gives the person visiting the channel a chance to see your content and possibly click through to watch it on the watch page in higher quality which will class as a view.

Well now you all know.
A while back you could embed with a code so people on your website would not see the player and on autoplay. Was a simple method to boost the amount of :"views".

I would not recommend this. The reason why is that they clearly have some shady methods since they won't tell how they get the views you pay for.
One will never know if they use bots which can be able to click bomb you.
