Ohh didn't see that :p but solid pick ^

Idk if I'm really going to do it because I've heard it can be really expensive. But it's something I'm interested lol.
you can build a pc that runs games like bf4 on high settings at 1080p for the price of the xbox one and outperforms it by a long shot but with the money you save by not buying xbox live every year will go towards upgrading your pc every couple of years[DOUBLEPOST=1392324255,1392324203][/DOUBLEPOST]
We play Minecraft, Garry's Mod, League of Legends, a lot of steam games depending on sales. I also edit videos and record using fraps as well. I had a laptop that could handle all of this but it's recently been having software issues with Java. I'm not really good with technology stuff lol so idk what the actual problem is. But it's also getting up there in years now. Honestly, my budget is only like $600 at the most right now, by summer I'd have around $1000. And yeah, it is kind of intimidating lol. But it's something I've been wanting to do for a while.
for 600 i can get you a pc that can run games at ultra settins for 50 fps which way past playable

What about a case? USB support? Optical drive?

The case is there, it's the Antec One. He'll also be covered for USB ports since the case has two and the motherboard has like 6. I didn't add an optical drive since most people don't need it, but he's welcome to add one in if the does :3, they're less than $20.

Ok somehow I missed the case. I've been looking for one with multiple USB ports in front / top. Those seem difficult to find.
