Building Your Own Gaming Computer

I have no knowledge about this topic. But I was given advice to do this. A few days ago. I thought maybe I could get some insight from some of the lovely people on YTtalk lol. How much would it cost? What exactly would I order? Thanks everyone. :)

Depends, you can spend 200 dollars on one just as easily as you can spend 6000 dollars, you just have to know how much you have to spend and what you will be using the computer for.

Wooo, glad you've decided to build.
Price -- Strictly depends on what you want it to do. What games are you going to play and what resolution & settings? Are you video editing? Recording your games while you play them? Multitasking? Etc etc

You would order all the parts you need and put them together. This includes:
Processor/CPU
Motherboard
Ram/Memory
Graphics Card
Power Supply
Storage (Hard Drives, SSDs)
Case
Optical Drive (completely optional)

Others include aftermarket cooling, etc etc.

Putting it together -- It's not difficult whatsoever, you just sorta...put them together like a puzzle. It can be intimidating and a little long the first time. First time I built mine, it took about two hours. Now, I can probably put one together in half an hour.

So, what shall your budget be? :)

Idk if I'm really going to do it because I've heard it can be really expensive. But it's something I'm interested lol.
Expensive is subjective, but you can build an awesome PC for gaming for < $700! Pre-built ones are overpriced.

We play Minecraft, Garry's Mod, League of Legends, a lot of steam games depending on sales. I also edit videos and record using fraps as well. I had a laptop that could handle all of this but it's recently been having software issues with Java. I'm not really good with technology stuff lol so idk what the actual problem is. But it's also getting up there in years now. Honestly, my budget is only like $600 at the most right now, by summer I'd have around $1000. And yeah, it is kind of intimidating lol. But it's something I've been wanting to do for a while.

Hey, I can get you a low budget pc that will run you most games on medium-ultra settings on 1080p. This PC will cost you around 700$ First you will need a processor If you will just do YouTube and not stream then I recommend you get a 4th gen i5, but if you are going to stream you should get a i7 3rd gen or 4th gen. You dont need a i7 to stream but it is better. But in the other hand if you are on a low budget you should get a AMD FX 6300, or AMD FX 6350 these are really good, and cheap processor. Keep in mind the more expensive processors dont give you more FPS. Now getting into the GPU aka Graphics card if you are on a high budget go for a GTX 760 or GTX 770, but if you prefer AMD get a 7950, or 7970. These are excellent cards but pricy but if you are on a cheap budget get a GTX 650 TI 2GB SUPERCLOCKED, or a 660. You will need 1tb to put all your videos in and I recommend 8GB of Ram unless your streaming you will need 16GB. If you got anymore questions let me know :)

$600 is very duable. I can make a build now and you can always upgrade as you go!
