BroadbandTV: really, really, really lame CPMs? [BBTV and subsidiaries]

I feel like sueing them to be honest as I have a lawyer in my family, but it's basically wasted time due to the fact I could do better stuff in that time and I don't get much from YouTube anyway.

I wouldn't sue them for the CPM, but moreso for extending my contract to a static one for a year, whilst I have said multiple times that I want to leave that ignorant network @ support in the period when you could leave at any time with a delay of 1 month, but they basically neglected all my well written e-mails regarding that and just extended it. Shows how childish they are.
they're almost as bad as awesomenesstv who claim that striked partners dont get paid which is absolute b******t, going to call them up on monday for a friend and rant

I remember the old tgn forums where some guy made a thread that he was getting 1,000,000 views per month and his cpm was $0.56 I really wish I would have taken a screenshot to have some evidence to show you guys.

Any threads like that doesn't exist anymore.

40% cut they probably take waaay more than that.

Like I said, I don't have prove of that. But I don't have prove of my CPM either. The rumors about BBTV skimming money off the top could just as well be some disgruntled employee or old partner or something. The only people who said to have witnessed the money theft had 0 or 1 posts when they wrote that story and never provided any proof they worked for BBTV at all. In either case we can all agree that TGN is not a good network. That much is clear.

Well let me help you out a bit

How come they are the only network that hasn't enabled revenue on youtube's analytics
How come they tell their partners to use Viso Catalyst (their technology) it doesn't really show you the total amount you are really making.
How come they close down or lock down all the threads about low cpms
How come they have really bad cpms when other people in other networks have high cpms (and osme of them rarely average 1,000 views daily)

I know I don't have proof but these are some questions one should be asking and trying to fit the pieces together.

Those questions, despite me not having the answers, are the reason I'm leaving TGN. There's too much s**t going on that can't be talked about or asked about.

Exactly when you can't talk about it or get straight answers you know something is up. You don't really need proof at this point, I've checked out the old TGN partners and by old I mean the first partners to partner up with TGN back when they started and the majority of them left Broadbandtv, because on their socialblade stats it says they are partnered with a different network, I guess they figured it out earlier. Good for them.

What most people do not understand is their is 5 different primary ad types on the YouTube Platform. They can go around from $0.50 to $20+ per 1,000 views. If you ever use Google ad words it states the ad provider only pays if someone watches 30 seconds or more of the ad. What most people do not understand or know is that YouTube it self's takes 45% of all revenue earned off every single YouTube channels ad revenue for the networks using their ad sales team. This teams all Network's that don't have their own ad sales team uses Adsense.

We already know this..........

This is the main cause for low CPM. Some channels get low ads even if they are getting high volumes of views. Not every single view gets monetized. For an example out of 20million views only maybe 16million will be monetized.

Thanks for the reminder but I already know all of this.
