Maybe switch some of it up, change the whole background image thing because either do admit it does look similar to the he first one

I was thinking of using a color other than black for the top left and bottom banner/background stuff

Looks good to me. On the topic of the color, you might use some dark blue rather than black, to stay in line with the overall design.

Okay so I will use my own thumbnails as an example: The first is my CODLive series where I play Black Ops 3 live. The second is an edited and scripted Best class setup guide for certain weapons in black ops 3.

The main point is that they look very different in terms of layout and design and that is definitely what you should do for your thumbnails. maybe for your playthroughs include a facecam and then use that for your lets play thumbnails, just an idea but it would really separate it apart

See I disagree with that mentality. I think that they should be similar enough to recognize a channels artwork, much like an artist can be recognized through their work of art. You look at a Picasso, you know it's a Picasso.

I'm not as talented as an artist LOL, but my point is you look at my video thumbnails, you know who made the video.

I like the look of your thumbnails, but they look like every other best class setup / gameplay type thumbnail I see for CoD (obviously your pic not someone like TBNRFragz instead). Not that it's bad, I just don't want my thumbnail to look like everyone's haha
