YTtalk Mad
EDIT:

Since people are so quick to jump to conclusions, even though nobody knows anything about me. This thread is gone. I was just trying to do some promotion with someone with my channel size but apparently that's a crime now days.

Thanks so much.

You may think it's rude, but I don't think it's unfair to ask to promote people on my channel, and be promoted, that have similar growth and quality as my channel.
I don't want 100 people asking for me to promote them on my channel with 1.5k subs on it who only have 30 subs.
I do my fair share in promoting small channels, you don't know anything about me outside of this post, but yes, here on YTTalk I am asking for people with similar channel sizes as mine because it's hard to find. :][DOUBLEPOST=1409628949,1409628817][/DOUBLEPOST]
Thats exactly what I got out of it too. Im sorry but Youtube is a community, and it seems like you only want to use other people for promotion.
Take a look at my previous comment. As I stated, you know nothing about my presence on YouTube, so maybe you should try to see more than what you want to see in my post, which is negative, and see that I am trying to help myself and others.

I'm not going to argue with you about what you do here, on Youtube, or anywhere else. I'm just stating what it looks like to me and others. Hope you have a nice day.

I wasn't arguing. But it seemed I needed to defend myself, so I wanted to state my intentions since right off the bat I'm getting negative comments.

I'll only exchange with people who have as many or more subscribers than me.

I don't mean to sound like a negative Nancy but with that kind of sentiment you are more likely to drive people away from you. I understand what you want but to limit who you collaborate or work with based on sub count is potentially harmful. I've collaborated, gamed with and given free advice/ideas to many fine people on this here forum and most of em have had more subs than me. A lot of those people, I think, realized that it's not sub count that matters the most when it comes to collaboration but quality of the person, their content and their ideas. There are two people in particular who have a few thousand more subs than me but still contact me for collabs and advice. Anyway, glean from this what you will. It's just something I've learned when others were helping me.

Don't worry guys! I'll edit this post for you since nobody can just take this for what it is! You literally know nothing about me or what I've done on YT. Thanks so much.

Sound advice for any tuber really. But from I know of Brittany, she dosen't have an issue with collabs or helping or anything with smaller or much bigger channels, its just a box for box thing and while annoying and its something I dissaprove of (Sorry Britt) kind of, if doing it, I think finding someone with a similiar growth makes sense. Of course you can and also use it for friends, but helping some one out while being helped for one spot or so, I don't see why they would get attacked for it. It's not as bad as some of the request we see here at YTalk for b4b.

The key word here is similar. She didn't ask for people with a similar number of subs, she said "as many or more than".

That comment is what has raised this discussion - I don't think anyone is "attacking" this person.
