Boobs Get The Views

The negative comments and the creeps will not be worth the increased views. I was a fan of the channel "Fuzz Box Girl" (she reviewed guitar pedals) and she would have a couple of sexy pictures in each video, but the content was top notch. The creeper/hater comments drove her to remove her presence from the web entirely. Went as far as to delete her channel and facebook page.
People suck.

Just be true to yourself, there is no shame either way. I still have respect for women (and men!) who use their good looks or whatever charm, humor, etc to market themselves successfully. I just think it's good business practice, like the success of JennaMarbles she might have created what most people think is a "trashy persona" a bit but I actually think it's smart to do if that's what you want and what makes a profitable income.

I have never said any swears or done anything sexy or wore revealing clothes or anything like that on my channel. I feel like there is pressure to stay wholesome because children can see my channel, but in a way this doesn't exactly reflect my true personality either (like iJustine I believe had such a wholesome image too that its trapping her) and that's sort of how I feel. I am afraid to show anything sexual or say anything funny in a dirty way even though that would be in line with my real personality, I feel like the brand I have built is not the true me. But I wish it was sometimes!

Exactly the plan Jnet :)[DOUBLEPOST=1464024874,1464024376][/DOUBLEPOST]

yea thats another thing im worried about, if people come to my channel and see others are disliking my videos / being creepers their going to hop on the bandwagon and do the same thing.

i once stumbled on a video with so many dislikes and this guy was like i am not even going to watch the video but i see people are disliking the video so i am too.
and i dont want that to happen with me.

i mean dont get me wrong if people dislike my video then ok rate it and ill improve on the next one.

but i dont want my whole channel to be based on hateing me.

someone did claim to me. if haters attract to your channel then dont freak out your doing something right and dislikes is still a rating and will attract more people.

i got like 3 dislikes on a video i did or maybe 5 disliks and 3 likes and i dont know why i said nothing wrong jus trolls being trolls i guess.

thats another thing i need to somehow find out how to build a community of people who want to support me for me and who like the content i create.

i honestly feel im not that bad.
just because i dont want to show cleavage and am making videos being myself wearing comfortable clothes feel like wow... its going to be hard to attract people, but i am not giving up and going to keep on going on because why? i enjoy doing what i do and i want my children to watch mommys wackyness vlogs for when i am out of this world and they can watch some of mommies funny moments and cherish every memmory ive created.

Husband says take it like a virtual album of your life and its all for our children, and thats exactly what im doing.
sharing with the world about whats happening in my own little world and inspiring others what it is that i like to do.

"I have one video of underwater belly flopping and the thumbnail is my friend and you wouldn't guess what is all right up in the screen."
hehe..... Hey, Speaking of Thumbnail my husband requested what if i go on google and use some hot image of a chick showing cleavage just to attract the viewers? like maybe lets say i made the title say.. ,
Thoughts On Kim Kardashian Getting a Boob Job! and in the video i was talking about hot female celebs, he requested i use an image of some hot celeb showing clevage for thumbnail?
Bad idea and people will get mad /dislike video because i used thumbnail of her????[DOUBLEPOST=1464023601,1464023411][/DOUBLEPOST]
yea but like i said i dont want to cross any lines with my husband and am going to respect his wish. just feel boobs do attract alot of people which i am feeling at a loss because i cant show anything to people to respect my husbands wish and as i mention i have kids and i as well dont want them to see my videos attracting viewers for the wrong reason for when they get older and ask me why mommy why?[DOUBLEPOST=1464023636][/DOUBLEPOST]
exactly.... >.>[DOUBLEPOST=1464024129][/DOUBLEPOST]

(Also, better-looking people get more views.)
I once was told my teeth are excuse my french but (F**ked up) and that i need to wear make up... Excuse my teeth for being bad as you trolls claim.... we dont have good dental insurance atm and are struggling enough as it is already.... plus i rather my kids teeth get worked on before mine.... and as my father made a quote to me saying.... No point on getting teeth fix unless their that bad.... why waste good money like braces and crap.... its a waste of money and when you die, your teeth are going to look screwed up anyways.... he thinks way outside of the box hehe.....
I honestly feel my teeth aren't that bad..... i asked my husband and he says my overbite could get adjusted but whatever makes me happy, he says as long as hes able to give me a good kis without my choppers getting in the way then hes happy either or... and plus.... i believe in all natural beauty, i only weak makeup on special occasions...
with alot of make up you can get wrinkles for when your older, if anything i wear eye liner but not as often,

My Point is.... that i feel its just hard to attract your audiences without exposing any body appearance or as you said (better-looking people) as i feel i am not a better looking person, but thats not stopping me from video creation content and i am still going to keep going forward.
unless the video is good and actually shows what's in the thumbnail people will get mad because it's misleading. My thumbnail is an actual screen grab from the video and it's one of the first things that happens in the video.[DOUBLEPOST=1464025809][/DOUBLEPOST]

This is one thing about me is I post exactly how I am and don't hold back anything. I don't talk much in my videos so this is not very hard on YouTube. The biggest place you can see this is on my personal Facebook page. I have told multiple people multiple times if they don't like what I post, there's an unfriend button they can click. I even told my grandma about the unfriend button not too long ago because she was complaining about some of my posts lol!

Just want to rant out on this topic,

Someone who i shared my video with requested i show "cleavage" to attract views,
complimented that i do have beauty ( thanks for that btw) but i am hiding it.

I have respect for myself, i am a mother of 2 kids and am happily married.
I shouldnt of brought this up to my husband but were a team and i shouldn't feel like i have to hide anything to him, Plus i rather get people who support me that will actually want to watch my content for me vs watching me because of Cleavage.

Anyways i had a discussion with my husband about this and he says for me not to stoop down to that level of showing cleave on the internet to get views.

He for one doesn't feel comfortable about that idea and doesnt want our kids growing up seeing their mommys tatas all over the internet.

In a way i told him that perhaps the idea in a way may work but he said yea.... only if your desparate.

and i dont want people to think i am,

I understand its tough to get views if your a smaller youtuber with a small channel and is hard to get notice but as a daily vlogger like myself i feel that i just have to keep at it and keep on pumping them videos out day by day and before i know it someone will stumble upon my channel and enjoy the content i create.

that being said whats your guys thought on this?

I say find the middle ground..If you have big ol knockers, don't go flaunting them around but there is nothing wrong with showing a little skin. Wear what you are comfortable wearing in front of a group of friends. If you wear turtlenecks to parties, wear them on camera, if you wear sportsbras, wear that.
To me it's the equivalent of something boys take very seriously themselves--their hair!
Look at all the top youtubers/tv guys that start to lose their hair (dude perfect/rob dyrdek/tosh.0 to name a few) they all wear hats. You could say, "who cares what people think, lose that hats fellas", but if you have ever seen any of them without their hats on (or before tosh bought his hair), it's less fun and more creepy.
My girlfriend is in a few videos of mine and she is always changing out of her regular clothes so that "she isn't a *****", but if she is wearing yoga pants to the store why can't she wear them on the internet.

Exactly and thats something that i dont want to happen.[DOUBLEPOST=1464030221,1464029876][/DOUBLEPOST]

(If you wear turtlenecks to parties, wear them on camera ) lol i see your point but i dont wear those, if anything i feel comfortable to wear baggy shirts as i feel more comfortable in them,
perhaps it may has to do with my weight, Not saying im huge or anything but i did had 2 kids and picked up a few baby fat and to wear a tight shirt may be an option to plump up my (knockers) as you call it i still wouldnt feel comfortable doing that, as i said i prefer baggy shirts, with short sleeves, but depending on the occasion ill dress up of course and maybe in those vlogs i do people will see a whole different side of how i look because those moments are rare in my life. heh

"who cares what people think, lose that hats fellas" lol i also wear hats in a few of my videos, Not that im loosing hair but i feel i have a big forehead so in my videos i wear hats alot someone asked me if i was bald cause i dont show my hair as much and i said No i just like wearing hats Like My jack skeleton beanie or husky spirit hood, its just what i like to do i suppose heh[DOUBLEPOST=1464030592][/DOUBLEPOST]

yea my father doesnt understand why im doing what im doing and says its a waste of time, i explained to him this is a hobby i enjoy doing and how i am creating a video diary album for my children to cherish for when their older and i pass away they can still keep good memmories of their mommy for when my time comes and he just doesnt understand, i even offer to have him in a video since hes a handy man.

he said you should do like how to do thing videos so he is a fan of my how to tutorials i have but everything else he puts it down and says just stop, kinda sad tho not to get support from the folks but like you said if you dont like it dont watch it, my hubby supports me but still doesnt understand my youtube world he doesnt even like to be shown in my videos, at least he doesnt mind when i talk to him i can record our convos,

I wanted to do The Couple Tag video but i feel it may be weird to do if he wont be seen in the video, im still debating on that, maybe ill get a doll to place in the camera and tell people to pretend its him but the background audio is him answering to me.... i dunno maybe a lil weird i suppose... lol

Do people even watch tag videos? like the accent tag ? maybe i can also look into doing those,

Don't give in to these people that tell you to show your boobs to get anywhere. Yes the girls that do show boobs make it harder for the ones that are not doing it, but surely your following has a bit more meaning. The people that are following you now, are people that care about your content, not your boobs.

((Yes the girls that do show boobs make it harder for the ones that are not doing)) yea i am finding it hard honestly =/
(( The people that are following you now, are people that care about your content, not your boobs. )) Thanks for that, that indeed is very much true :)

The truth is that sex does sell since us human beings are wired to be more attracted to people who are sexually attractive there is no doubt about that. Until the end of our days boobs will always get more views unfortunately. Respect to you for having your own personal boundaries and doing what is right by you and the people that you love.

I wouldnt flaunt them, just be reasonable and respectful. it really just means use your common sense. i dont think anyone would really use boobs just for views, your body is nothing on your mind and personality! your personality catches more than boobs! some people who say youre using your boobs to get views may be jealous!!

Do you own thing and screw people that want you to do something outside of your comfort zone. I do have to mention one thing; Don't "pump" out videos. Take your time and refine them unless you are really happy with your daily content. You'll probably find that you end up with roughly the same ammount of views from say 3 videos in a week vs the 7 you do now. Heck, I stay away from YouTube 2 weeks and I get more views in those 2 weeks than I have ever gotten. YouTube is weird. Also, quality > quantity. Nothing annoys people more than getting notifications of someone every day, unless they are huge fans. And when you are small that tends to not be the case.

At any rate, do it for you, not for the views / subs and everything that comes with it. If you don't enjoy the creative process and just pump out videos because you have disillusions of grandeur... well... You'll end up disappointed sooner rather than later.
