Blurring out number plate

Hey guys,
I need help on blurring out a number plate on my Razor Quad bike in my footage is this possible in iMovie?
 
Not really, no. If the bike's gonna be moving you need software with motion tracking. Things like Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere do that.

The only way to do it in imovie is to import a black rectangle that would cover it (just a jpeg or whatever), and go frame by frame through the entire thing moving the bar around the frame accordingly. Your vid is probably 24-30 frames a second, so it's possible but it's gonna take you a while.

Or just a simple motion blur
 
Frankie is spot on with this one - not something thats easy to achieve in iMovie, since iMovie was only ever meant to be a very basic editor. For more advanced and tracking tools you need to use the more advanced software.
