My Blue Snowball just came in today from amazon! *squeel* I can't wait to record with it! Does anyone else on here have one? If so how do you like it and what settings do you use?

Blue Snowball is a wonderful beginner's mike. Bare minimum for Youtube.
I like it a lot, but it's not exactly customisable in terms of settings.

I used to have one, but I got a Blue Yeti a few months ago. The Snowball is a good microphone, but there are a lot that are better. The others are more expensive, but they are definitely a good investment once you have the money. Using a Blue Snowball until you can afford a Yeti or an AT2020 is great because it has good quality, and it's very cheap. It is not a permanent microphone, but it is great for that transition period.

Yeah, I figured I could get a good 3-6 months out of it, if not more until I earn the money But so far is great

Congrats! but ya like people have said you cant really customize the snowball compared to the yeti or AT but still a good start

I agree with this, I personally use a Audio technica AT2035 for my channel and the audio quality has honestly sky rocketed compared to the yeti.
