Hmmm...hard to say if it would work or not.
I would say make one video but treat it like a test video just to see how your audience would respond. Still film it with full energy much like any other video you would do, that way you can get a true reaction from it.
If its a hit then awesome! If it doesnt quite work then at least you've given it a go and have not wasted any time lining up a number of episodes for it.
