Bioshock Infinite!?!

I think it will be an awesome game, but I am kind of disappointed that they chose to call it BioShock and supposedly put it in the same universe as the previous BioShock games. The entire story makes no sense from that perspective. Two different cities where people can have almost identical powers. It's a pet peeve of mine though and prolly won't make the game less great unless Rapture is actually referenced.
 
I played with first Bioshock when it came out and I've been altering my sleep schedule to let me play it all the way through once it unlocks. It just finished Pre-Loading on my PC and I have a countdown on my phone.
 
Got home, and its in my hands. Put the disc in to install it ready and Steam stops me because its not out yet. Gone are the days of buying a disc and playing straight from it. Was looking forward to installing it before time :(
 
Patience young ones. The time will come.
Despite not getting early access to a copy I'm tempted to still do a first impressions video on it once I've played it enough to absorb it.
 
Will be doing a LP offcourse, but I haven't played the previous games, I am really excited about it though :D
 
I for one am doing to do my LP after I play through the game once (what is this sleep stuff people keeping telling me about)

I don't want to dilute my gameplay with padded footage of me trying to figure things out and I want to be able to already know where 2K draws parallels to the first Bioshock ahead of time, even if that puts me about 8 hours behind everyone else. No seriously, I'm taking notes as I play through and take it in.
 
I have to wait 23 more hours to pick up my preorder... Darn Hawaii-time... The game looks promising. I really like the new Elizabeth too.
