Big youtubers what do they get paid monthly

Ok so looking on statsheep and social blade of top youtubers some hve a monthly pay of over 100k and upwards ... Is this what they actually earn or do YouTube and other things take a cut , seems a lot of money and especially when some of the youtubers talk about there day jobs , surely if your making 100,000 a month you wouldn't need day jobs ... Or have I picked this up wrong
 
It really depends on the youtuber's performance and the contract they negotiated with their network.

Several of them are surely making over 100k a month.

There's definitely a few youtubers that have become multi-millionares due to their youtube sucesss
 
It depends on a lot of things, but generally, if you have 100,000+ subscribers and they are all pretty much active, I'd say that you'd start considering keeping it as a job, but, alas, some people keep it a hobby
 
So they actually do make millions ... It's insane one of the gaming channels I watch just started last year and now has every video hitting over the million view mark and he is estimated to make over 200k a month but he's talking about doing a realy job , why would you want to if you were making this kind of money a month

Don't pay attention to those social blade estimates, they are garbage.

Because youtubers make more money in brand deals and other work they get from their youtube, a lot of the time the money they earn on youtube is not their main source of income no matter how much they are making on there

Maybe they have a job they likes? :)
Even if i had 5000000000000€ on my bank account, i would not quite my dream job.
