Indeed, but it seems peculiar that PewDiePie left him behind, once he got millions of subscribers, they've never done a collab video in two years, if my memory is correct.
I'm not saying that they are not friends, I'm saying that it's weird that he doesn't do collab with people that don't have tons of subs like him.[DOUBLEPOST=1453589197,1453588832][/DOUBLEPOST]
I agree with you. I've been on YouTube for a while, only recently began this channel to make videos. I've been 'across this site and back', and I've seen a dozen YouTubers make it big, and some of them sucked in the beginning, which is a reason why I started mine, lol.
Most of them abandon smaller channels, even the ones that helped them grow. And that makes me sad.
Well he and Cry did a couple videos about a month or two ago last I remember (I only follow Cry so I'm not exact on the date). He has collaborated with quite a few smaller people actually (one I remember was a 12k follower Twitch streamer), but the reason he collaborates with other larger channels is mainly because if he collaborated with one small channel, everyone would flock to him. It the idea that if he does it with one person, he has to do it with everyone. Plus most people just collaborate with friends, since he works at Polaris with so many other large Youtubers, they keep in frequent contact. It goes for all people really. You can't judge people for who the chose to collaborate with. You pick your own friends. I collaborate with a lot of channels larger than me (2k+), not because they feel the need to collaborate with small channels, but because they like me and we have become friends. I think that should be the case with every channel. If you get along and find the other persons content good, then you should collaborate. If you base it off of whether they are larger or smaller, then you should rethink your approach.
love this subject too very intriguing
