I've Got It
Lately I have been seeing more and more small YouTubers with bigger and bigger heads. It's really annoying and seems like it would make all the other small YouTubers look pretty bad, as if all we are out to do is "make it big" and "get rich quick."
I've seen a lot of "give me your support and I'll give you a shout out bc I'm becoming so popular.." type posts, not only on here but on videos on YouTube too and they've only got maybe 100 subs. SO ANNOYING!!!!
I just wanted to voice a "grievance." If this is offensive to anyone, I apologize. <3

When their head grows, you cut it off. I mean.... I didn't give that advice.... nooooooo not me.......... ;)

XD id rather see that than "Please come look at my channel i do gaming videos and *insert large youtuber here* is my inspiration!" on every pewdiepie, haxornova, tobuscus video i click on XD

Some people don't post stuff like that because they think they are so 'popular' or that 'big.' Some people just want a way to better get people interacted with their videos. When someone doesn't have many subscribers, there's not too many ways to get the crowd interacted in some way so knowing that many people are trying to build their channels, giving a shout-out is just something nice to do in return for their interaction with your video. It's not that it WILL help their channel grow, but it's one extra connection. Small channels giving me shout-outs had gained me a couple of subscribers so I try to do the same thing as well, because even those small channels got me a couple extra subscribers when even my small channel had more subscribers than theirs. I just do it to try to get people more interacted with my videos, not because I think I am big enough to where people should want my shout-outs or anything. Just saying, maybe I'm irritating for doing it, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop doing it.

Are you kidding, I'm excited about my 7 subs. And, honestly, I know that I probably won't make it big time, but the REAL YTers do it because they ENJOY making the videos, not making the money. So, to all the real YTers, we just need to keep at it

I have seen so many cases of this that its sickening. When you get 1,000 or 2,000 come talk to me. Until then, you have your foot in the door as much as the rest of us do. As for the "interaction" aspect of it, if you are saying "look how big I am, let me give you a shout-out because I'm so famous," <<<<THAT IS NOT TO GET INTERACTION! That is just you thinking you are of importance over the rest of us. If you don't say it like that, you are not the one I am complaining about.

Dude, I hear ya. Some people are a bit crazy because they think they're the "next big thing", but it sucks for them because if they think like that, then they probably aren't.
