Big changes to account standing: copyright strikes & community guidelines

Do they really disable monetization after 1 strike? According to this page it says they don't, but your screenshot contradicts that.

This is what doesn't make sense to me. I have access to 8 channels and on two of them, they each have one strike and disabled monetization. On one that had two strikes before this new system was in place now has 0 and monetization enabled.... Something seems to be off tbh.

Wait, so the new system going into place removed the 2 strikes?

Exactly, which makes no sense whatsoever. Two channels with one strike still had that strike after new system was put in place, but a channel in even worse situation, with two copyright strikes (each had multiple videos included) now has none?

Wow, that's crazy. Is there an option still to send a counter-notification?

To add to the inconsistencies, here's my screen:

Wow. And here is a complete opposite scenario:

No strike on that page, but monetization is disabled. However, the channel actually had a copyright strike and even counter-notification was rightfully denied, but it doesn't show a strike there, despite monetization being disabled haha.

Copyright strikes have never disabled my monetization, even when I had 2 of them, though. Not sure what the rules for that are.

Well, it appears there are a few different types of copyright strikes. I've also seen strikes that did not disable monetization or longer video length, even when two were issued, but I've seen one strike that shuts down channel completely (no monetization, no 15m+ videos, no unlisted option etc). I'm surprised there's no more clarification from YouTube on this subject.

But this new system, if we can call it like that, seems to be bugged - strike is clearly issued on a channel, since monetization is disabled, but it's not shown on the overview page.
