I've Got It
What about MGN? Multi Gaming Network. They offer me to join them, saying I will get a 95/5 split with the same amount of CPM I'm having with RPM.Depends on audience, retention, etc etc

That's an offshot of Freedom, so tbh I'd stay away. Freedom still don't have an adsales team, so I'd guess neither to MGN (someone please corret me if i'm wrong). What about MGN? Multi Gaming Network. MGN is Freedom's gaming vertical. Freedom's only issues are their low RevShare and late payments (as compared to other networks), but since you were offered a higher split, you should be fine. Personally I would find a network under Freedom that offers a few more features and would be willing to match their RevShare offer but that decision is all on you.[DOUBLEPOST=1419133310,1419133062][/DOUBLEPOST]What about MGN? They don't have ad sales, Freedom seems to try to do more sponsorship deals rather than traditional ad sales. From what I've been able to probe from the staff at Freedom, their reasoning is because it is too costly to get a full ad sales team setup, although I have heard they are still looking to build a team but it's probably on their back burner until they finish up some more projects.Freedom still don't have an adsales team, so I'd guess neither to MGN (someone please corret me if i'm wrong).
I don't really care which network is. I only want to know the truth. A lot of people say that their rev share is fake and their CPM. Other say that it is good. Their split, I don't know if is true, but I was chating with one of their workers and told me that I would receive a 95/5 split.is Freedom's gaming vertical. Make sure that you are talking with an actual MGN/Freedom staff member rather than a recruiter just trying to make a quick dime. If you are actually talking to a MGN staffer then your chances of getting that 95% is really high, although I wouldn't guarantee it since I don't work for or with the MGN team. If you are so nervous about the RevShare, ask for either a custom contract or something to guarantee the RevShare (you could ask them to change the RevShare before you accept their CO/CMS invite, you would receive an automatic email notification that your RevShare was changed). If they are truly serious they will obviously oblige .A lot of people say that their rev share is fake and their CPM. Other say that it is good. Honestly it's your choice, not mine. What kind of features are you looking for?Union for Gamer, Curse, MGN, and Creative Nation. Which one would you prefer?
Thanks for the info, however I don't think the "cost" thing is really a valid excuse, they're becoming one of the largest MCNs out tkhere, have a very large team and a massive office, money isn't really something they seem to lack at the moment. I'd just stay away from Freedom because their marketing is really shady to be honest, but yea that's up to OP.MGN is Freedom's gaming vertical. Staying away from a company because their marketing isn't good is like not eating a banana because it has brown spots.I'd just stay away from Freedom because their marketing is really shady to be honest, but yea that's up to OP.
OStaying away from a company because their marketing isn't good is like not eating a banana because it has brown spots.I will admit, they do have some cringe worthy videos but they do seem to be trying to get better with their new Impluse show.
Oh not the fact that it isn't good, the fact that it is pretty shady and seems to try and prey a bit on the younger and people who don't know too much about YouTubeStaying away from a company because their marketing isn't good is like not eating a banana because it has brown spots.I will admit, they do have some cringe worthy videos but they do seem to be trying to get better with their new Impluse show.
Well, it doesn't matter if is my opinion. I want to see yours. My youtube channel is based on games. So, you probably know more than me about networks, that's why I'm asking.[DOUBLEPOST=1419136769,1419136647][/DOUBLEPOST]Make sure that you are talking with an actual MGN/Freedom staff member rather than a recruiter just trying to make a quick dime. BTW Union For Gamers is Curse![]()
The weird thing is that they are giving money away to their partners, but they are trying to improve. USE that money for your advantages and not to improve others, than when their company is big, try to get more partners.[DOUBLEPOST=1419136950][/DOUBLEPOST]O

The person who I'm talking to is named Kyle Anderson. I don't know if he is a recruiter, but this person has told me these things. My name is Kyle and I work at MGN, an all-gaming network powered by Freedom! This is his introduction to me.Make sure that you are talking with an actual MGN/Freedom staff member rather than a recruiter just trying to make a quick dime.
I'm trying not to be biased since I do have connections to Freedom (I run a network with them and that is probably the most I'll say) but if they offer everything you want, then go for it. I would go for other Freedom network that offers more features and is willing to match MGN's offer (or at least give you a reason to give up that extra 5% to move down to a 90%). I haven't been actively following MGN and so I only know what is needed to compete with them. I personally believe that they are lacking a bit on the side of features but understand that their cost and focus are much higher as compared to a smaller network. But as I said, the decision is completely up to you whether you want to take it or not. My only advice is to not just into anything too quickly and make sure to have everything laid out before jumping into anything.Well, it doesn't matter if is my opinion. I want to see yours.
