Best way to create Banners/Thumbnails?

I've Got It
Alright so here I am, trying to figure out with which program I can create some awesome thumbnails and banners, I've been working with photoshop a bit but it's still quite complicated for me haha

Is photoshop a good program to create banners/thumbnails with?

If not, are there any other programs I can work with?

Offcoarse photoshop is the best for creating thumbnails, banners and anything
Ya I know its a bit complicated, you can use any program like MS PAINT or MS POWERPOINT or any free websites (I can't remember the names of those sites)!

Thanks a lot ! I will just try to learn working with photoshop then. Although I only have the trial version right now I have still like 25 days left, so enough time for me to understand the program a bit I hope xd

Yep photoshop is the best choice. It gives you complete freedom to create anything (Doesn't get better than that)
 
Photoshop is like a thousand dollars. I would suggest Gimp since you're still a photoshop beginner and have a trial. Gimp is free.

Picmonkey works very well for beginners and is very user friendly. I would suggest going there.
 
I use Paint.NET. Obviously no where near as powerful as Photoshop but it gets the job done. Has the basic layer functionality and vector options I need.
