Best way to add subtitles?

I've been wanting to make a funny moments video of black ops 2 but with subtitles. Like showing what the person said, yet in a funnier way. What's the best way to do this?

Putting subtitles in with Sony Vegas. Or another similar software. But not Camtasia. Camtasia sucks for subtitles.

Just use sony vegas. It is actually fast and easy if you now whatever someone is going to say next. And just to add funnyness, you can misspell a word on purpose based on how they said it

I do the same videos but to make it look funny I like to make the words bounce and spin and zoom in and out and give them crazy fonts, and have like a picture of what they are saying by the words. My latest Black Ops 2 vid is my best edited video so far and I love how I did by subtitles and pics and stuff.

Sony Vegas is really good for doing that. You could put the text over the video, and use Video FX or transitions to make it more interesting.

The same can be done in Premiere. It's called a "Title". A Title is a static image of text or shapes that you can place in your timeline. You can extend or shorten it's duration, fade in, out, and all that fancy stuff.

So find a good font, and start throwing text around.

There is a guy called KYR SP33DY who does this, he has just over 1.1m subscribers and he uses sony vegas, so that's got to he a good and easy one to use... personally I use premiere, I know it can do subtitles and such but I've never used then :')
