Best video editor!

I used to use a lot of sony vegas and I liked it a lot. As I couldn't really afford it, on my personal computer at least, I had the 'platinum' version, and not the 'pro', but they are basically the same. While in my opinion vegas is the best windows video editor, with an efficient interface and relatively snappy performance, I am now using Final Cut Pro X. While many professionals don't seem to like the new final cut much, once you get used to it, one realises that the new features are really useful and speed up your productivity. Also, unlike vegas where there would be bugs and flaws, you don't have to pay to get the next version, which makes it very good value.

Adobe Premiere Elements is quite powerful, yet simple. They have a "quick" and "expert" for both editors who just started off and those who are more experienced, I think it's pretty easy to handle. On Amazon you can get it in a bundle with Photoshop Elements (which is nice to have when you're making hi-quality thumbnails for your vids) and it's only about 70€ (roughly 96$). I believe they have a special deal for students and teachers, too. That's nice value for your money.

Btw, I'm not working for Adobe and I don't want to advertise for them, I just made that experience. ;)
