Adobe Premiere Pro. Last and only thing you will ever need. However you inability to configure video editing software properly will not go away by switching software, just saying.

Not sure which ones the best but I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 for everything and it's never let me down

What are you PC Specs? Only thing I can think of is you are trying to encode to high for your processor.

I personally use Power Director 12. I have a large catalog of transitions and effects. Able to edit videos without a problem. When it comes to audio matching as well if you are using webcam with your playing, its really simple and easy to do. I don't know your budget on video editors, but check PD12 or the latest one which is 13 i think. I have yet to be disappointed in this product.
