Best Video Editing Software

Hey guys I have an Apple computer and was wondering what the best editing software I could get with a Mac. I don't want to spend outrageous amounts of money, but I still want it to be good and not too hard to use! Thanks.

I use Premiere Pro, and it is amazing! I got it as part of the Production Premium CS6 Suite, which I got relatively cheap! :)

There is tons of them. Sony vegas, adobe premiere, imovie, etc. Just depends on what you want and what you are doing video wise imo.

Don't buy Creative Suite, it's obsolete. Get Creative Cloud. Cheaper too.[DOUBLEPOST=1372265803,1372265780][/DOUBLEPOST]

Sony Vegas isn't on Mac

Oh really? I actually didn't know that. I thought Vegas was available to everyone. I will have to keep that in mind in the future. (ya learn something new everyday)

Blarg whatever you do don't go with final cut. It is slowly becoming more and more inferior. If you want easy to use you can stick to imovie but if you want power and the best definitely go with Premiere and if your feeling frisky go for the whole suite.

I bought the software a long time ago ha

Ah, it was more advice to the OP. I also own CS6, but with Creative Cloud the way of the future there is no sense in buying CS now[DOUBLEPOST=1372266181,1372266141][/DOUBLEPOST]

Final Cut is a very good program. Final Cut X is not. Final Cut 7 is on par with Premiere Pro in every realm.

Final Cut Pro is currently just a little improved version of iMovie, so I would just stick with iMovie if I were you.
It has all the basic features that you might need.
