Best Video Editing Software For Windows?

Hello :D, title says it all!

Movie Maker no longer suits me xD and I'm looking for a new program

I don't care whether it is commercial or free

Thanks!

The best you can get for windows is one of the Adobe programs. For a lower cost version, you can get Premiere Elements 10 or 11 on Amazon for a decent price range of $40-$70 USD. If you want to go really high performance, you can go for Premiere Pro or on of the Creative Suites. Those can range from about $200 USD to over $2500 USD depending on what version(s) you get.

It all depends what you want to use it for. Are you looking to do some super-insane editing or do you want something ease of use with more of a professional feel to it?

I am currently using movie studio platinum and i loooooooove it. It really is great and it contains everything that I need.
Vegas Pro gave me problems for whatever reasons.
Yeah Vegas can be good if you can handle it lol. It worked a long time for me, but after a while just started rendering everything with green screens and the audio pooped on me :(. I use Premiere Pro cs6 now and I enjoy it.

Look for free trials for the softwares that have been listed above, and choose the one you prefer.
^^^ This

I've personally been using Powerdirector 11 ($90) and love it.

Movie Studio is like a watered down version of Vegas Pro. But should still meet your needs.

I used an older version of Adobe Premiere Elements which I had frustrations with earlier versions and it seems a bit over priced compared to either of the two above.

If money is no problem then Vegas Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro.

Still I would use trials to see what you are comfortable with.
