Best video editing program for multiple cuts?

After effects is... for effects! (duh) It is not for quick edits, you can use it for editing but it is recommended to leave all the editing to something like Premiere and make effects in After effects!

the fu...? after effects is for special effects and stuff.. he would want premiere :') that the video editing software.

Yeah AE is more of a compositor

The new Windows Movie Maker, dubbed Windows LIVE Movie Maker, is really easy in making cuts. The options should be under a colored tag called "Video".

Just tried it, cuts the whole video out and leaves behind the bit you didn't actually want!

Okay, try using the "Split" tool. You have to split the video into parts and split out the part you don't want. Give it a shot!

premiere pro is good, but isn't free, try re-installing windows movie maker, that might help
