Ok I was watching this very informative video that shares best times and day to upload videos and its really helpful and all, however im a wee bit confuse.
Its sharing that when posting a video its best to share based on these days/times
Monday-Wednesday 2pm-4pm
Thursday-Friday 12pm-3pm
Saturday-Sunday 9am-11am
Reason for that he explains is as viewership on television peaks around prime time / dinner time and its the same trend for youtube for when people sit down to eat dinner or just comming off work, its best to post early to late afternoon then it will be placed top of their subscribtion feed.
Ok it makes sense i get it, now he is saying these are times based on U.S. times and EST
Now... heres where im confused, Im PST
are you telling me since he advice if posting a video Lets pick Tuesday between 2pm-4pm est
then are you basically saying for my case to help increase views for videos to get notice i would have to make it public between 11am-1pm
Convert 2pm-4pm EST = 11am-1pm PST. Just trying to really understand this concept.
I really want to test out this method, but i am thinking like wait... he said 2pm est and im pst soooo... i probably shouldnt post 2pm pst my time then if so that would mean it would go public for EST users at about 5pm est
So... it will be... between 5pm est - 7pm Est
so should i just attempt to do a test and make a video public 2pm my time to see if it will attract any views?
or do the Time Zone method of making my video live 11am to match 2pm EST users.
would appreciate any inputs and what times you guys post videos if your a PST user and what seems ti be working out for you
