I know a lot of streamers use OBS some use Xspilt...What do you use what do you recommend. Price, ease of use, etc Would be nice to know as well much thanks in advance
Correct.... I have used Xsplit (paid) and OBS. And I haven't touched Xsplit in months.....OBS is by far superior, not only because its free, but because it takes less cpu usage to run it, runs smoother with less lag, and runs faster than xsplit. Don't get me wrong, xsplit is a great platform, but why pay for something when you can have a better alternative for free. With OBS, you can get into the programmer settings and set it exactly how you want. (A big plus for some people).Well I'm not the most knowledgeable person on the subject but from what I do know about price is OBS is free and open source while XSplit you have to buy a license or have a watermark on your stream. From what I have heard and seen OBS is also the superior program out of the two, I would go over to their website and download it and see what you think. When it comes to ease of use I haven't used it myself but again from what I have seen It doesn't look anymore complicated then recording software. There are also a lot of good guides around the internet if you google them.
