Best Recording Software?

Hello all!

So recently I've been experimenting with a few recording softwares, and they do not seem to fit my needs.

• Camtasia: bad video quality, laggy; good editing program
• Ezvid: bad editing, video meh
• Action: bad editing, good video but it costs money

So are there any recording software good for all around recording and good with editing? And that is FREE!!!

You can record your screen with OBS, and that's free!

You probably want to look at getting a free editing software and free capturing software.

Yes, I have WMM, but not OBS so I'll check them out!

I would try OBS

There's no "best" out there, it depends on your specs, and exactly what you want.
I've used Bandicam with the Sony Vegas preset, that works wonders for me.
Dxtory is also good I've heard.
Fraps is pretty poopoo compared to good encoding softwares.
