best movie maker

I didn't realize Camtasia could edit video. I remember thinking how much the interface looked like a video editor when I did some screen recording once, but it didn't click that I could actually edit video on it.

I find Final Cut Pro really quick and powerful to use. I like the fact you can export directly onto YouTube or Vimeo which means your videos are better quality and I find it uploads much quicker as well.

I use adobe premiere pro CS6, it may be a bit expensive but it is definitely worth every penny, it is really powerful with HD footage and works fast, only down side is you have to save the video then upload to youtube on the upload page, but apart from that if you are looking for an editor that is suitable for any kind of video, I would absolutley recommend adobe premiere pro

I prefer that anyway. I always check my videos on a TV first before uploading. I might find that an image that has partial transparency looks TOO transparent after rendering, so I have to increase the opacity. On the rare occasion a plugin I've used has had a glitch when rendering, causing artifacts on the screen, so I have to re-render it. Other times I forgot to add a transition in certain places, or maybe the background music is too loud compared to my voice so I need to drop it another 3dB, etc.

I use sony vegas Platinum 9 which is very confusing at first, if you really like simple editing programs I would definitely say go with Pinnacle I used that for years and it was great! Very clean and organized layout, and easy to learn how to edit any projects from small to big
