Best Headset You've Ever Used..?

Iv only ever had 2 headsets first being just the standard Xbox headset and also my PX22 which is use now so easy choice for me would be my PX22 but i am looking at upgrading to the astro a40 or a50

For me, probably the Plantronics 86050-05 Gamecom 380. (Just looked for the title on Amazon - couldn't remember it off by heart!)

Got it probably about a year and a half ago now for about £20. Really good headset - the audio quality is great and the microphone quality is good too. I used it in some of my videos last year, worked like a charm. :) And although I don't use the microphone anymore since I got a Blue Yeti mic, I still use it as a set of headphones. Still in perfect working condition after a year and a half - pretty good! :D The only problem is is that the microphone is fixed (apart from up and down of course), but that's something which isn't too bad, in my opinion.
 
I too favor the Razer Kraken, it was really expensive, but I do have to say that it was worth it so far...I just hope these headphones actually last me awhile, been taking real good care of them :)
 
I had turtle beaches X12's for a while before I got rid of them, for some reason I can't play with headsets while gaming, just too uncomfortable on the ears after a while.
 
well, headset, do you mean with a mic or just gaming headphones? with gaming headphones, the best so far for me have been razer headphones, best headset was probably a turtle beach one.
