Best beat maker software?

I want to start making beats and I have the trial of FL studio and I wanted to know if this would be the best software for beginners or is there something better?

Logic or Cubase

FL would be good to learn the ropes though

You are fine with using FL Studio, plus its one of the easier options to learn. Don't let anyone tell you its for amateurs, you can look at their power users page on their site and some of the artists listed are Avicii, DEADMAU5, Martin Garrix, and Basshunter among others.

I don't know if you know who Young Chop is but he makes really good beats and uses FL Studio even though he produces for really big artists.

Logic or Cubase

I found Cubase thoroughly unresponsive, but that's just me.

However, ProTools is pretty standard, very good, FL Studio is good, as well. That's what I've used throughout my whole Hip Hop beatmaking career.

I've been a FL Studio user for over 7 years, then switched to Ableton Live about 5 years ago. Ever since I made that switch my production process became more about creativity instead of the technical side of things. I've been making more and better music since I moved from FL to Ableton as well.
