Beer Fest

Wreckless Eating

Thought I'd share this video with you guys since it's been getting a lot of attention-nearly 850k views. It's a music video by the UK band Moones that has a clever concept-they perform their song 5 times and in between each take, the band has to drink a total of 20 beers, which is 4 per member. The video is annotated so you can skip between the takes by beer level (20, 40, 60, 80) and watch them attempt to play their song in varying stages of p**s a** drunk. The last two levels are youtube gold.

Awesome Idea!
The last level is really funny! They should make this video the Music Video of this song.

First: Genius!

Second: How did they make those fluid annotations?

I'm already thinking of using this concept on my channel.

This is from Tubefilter: In order to create the interactive music video adventure, the band had to embed a series of annotations, all roughly three seconds apart. The viewer can act as the band’s personal bar tender seamlessly clicking through multiple angles and various levels of drunkitude. It all makes for a supremely awesome feat as well as an important bellwether for bands looking to build a sense of community and engagement around their YouTube Content.

Those are all individual annotations?! Double Genius!! And a fuckton of work! Woah! That is so simple, yet so genius!
