Be Careful What You Say

I was watching WWE Countdown the other night and they were talking about when Vince and Shane wrestled Shawn Michaels and "God" in a match at the Backlash 2006 PPV, and how it offended people and whatever. They mentioned that the offended people could always just change the channel or stop watching, which is true. Even though Vince said they'd never do that again.

So yeah, someone's always gonna find a way to be offended by whatever topic. So, screw it. Talk about what you like. If it offends someone, too bad.

So my question is do you tend to watch what you talk about in your videos for fear of offending someone?

After getting enough hate + death threats I just realize that people will get offended over anything. It won't stop me from saying what I want or making the content that I want to. The truth is that if I start to censor myself, then the hater win.
 
The world is too sensitive nowadays about everything. I cant make fun of myself without offending someone somehow. Do what makes you happy. Don't surrender yourself to someone elses issues.
 
Everyone has that friend, who likes to pick an argument with anything anyone says, its fun for them a joy to get on a high horse. But they are harmless

I have also noticed this! I just say whatever is on my chest whether or not it will be the popular opinion. A) I love being myself in my videos and B) Someone will have a problem with SOMETHING in your videos whether you're critiquing something or someone, or if you're just giving your opinion.

Just continue being yourself and giving your viewers what they subscribed for! :)
 
I try very hard to name people or call them out if there's anything negative to say. I also try to avoid any real red button issues that deals with religion and politics and whatnot.
 
Never, NEVER cater to people who are offended by proxy, ever. It will hurt you content, and your ability to think creatively and freely about topics if you get mired in 'what if someone percieves this as possibly offensive'.

Think about it; that person was offended because SOMEONE ELSE might've possibly been offended by what you said but wasn't. Think about how stupid that is, and revel in it. And don't ever change your content to cater to that kind of mentality. People like that are never happy, and will continue to nitpick every angle they possibly can.
 
Everyone has already covered it very well, but yeah, basically don't let this select few people stop you from saying and doing the things you would usually do!
 
Looks like it's been covered already, but yeah... just do you. No way to plan ahead for how one of the billions of people on the planet may react.
 
Everything, and I mean everything you say is going to offend somebody these days, you really can't get around that fact. There's no sense worrying about that, you're going to offend people, and there's going to be people hating on you no matter what you do.
