He kind of went awol and we haven't played anything since lol I was able to chat to him to make sure all the copyrights to the intro and outro music was all good but he hasn't contacted me to play anything, he's still around up to stuff here and there. For good reason too, because my mate Loopy has exams and stuff until the end of Nov so he can't play GTA IV with me until then. That's the thing about co-labs. They are great for getting you out there and really good for making your commentary more interesting but, god can it be a b***h to organise sometimes. I bought a Terraria server for a month and we only ever played on it once. Then almost everyone I played with went awol.

Yep, that's what happened with me and him with Splinter Cell Blacklist. I actually ended up losing money on top. I wanted to play co-op with him and he wanted to play co-op with me but I had the PS3 Freedom Edition on pre-order so instead we decided to get the CD Key from CD Key warehouse and he even said to me "we better play this" lol I ended up trading in the PS3 copy (keeping the statue) and I only got $30 for it and it cost us around $50 for the deluxe edition key. We have never played the co-op at all lol I was meant to do a review for it with some co-op footage as well but we never played it. At 1 point we were kind of meant to but I didn't want to because I knew he wouldn't be around much to play, didn't think he'd disappear though.
 
Welp, looks like I might have more luck joining some clan. if they'll accept me, my KDR is like 0.94 and from my experience in the past most ask for a minimum of 1 :3 One complaint about BF4 is that I may be getting older now but I remember a time when there was Spawn Protection

Honestly, I hear CoD Ghosts is a train wreck and I've heard that BF4 is really fantastic. I think the BF single player could be up to par if they make it a Crysis style campaign. But then again, BF really is a multiplayer game at heart. The only reason I'm not getting it is because it's too similar to BF3 which I'm still playing.

Yeah, that's another reason I'm not getting it, well there's a few other reasons, 1 being that it's fairly similar to BF3 and another reason being that EA announced a few weeks before BF4's release that they were already working on the next BF that would have more desctructable environments. They have killed a few sales there lol I'm just wondering how long I should wait before I get BF4. Or maybe I could wait for them to do a BF4 + Premimum pack because I was suckered into getting the BF3 premium pack at $50 and I barely touched the DLCs it gave you because they came out too late.

I saw a leaked flyer from Gamestop's Black Friday sale that showed it for $30 or $40. I can't remember the exact price but its a bit cheaper than $60. I'm still reluctant to get it. Maybe BF5. I really don't want Battlefield to become an annual ip though.

If it becomes annual I'll stop buying it. But by the looks of it, it's already becomming annual. Although with new technology and next gen coming, annual could be pulled off, but it needs to be amazing.
 
Once again, yay for friend gifting it to me so I don't have to worry :D Except now I have to get him a $60 gift sometime.. D:

Right now it's looking to be semi-annual. If they can add another years' break between the games, it'll be perfect. The games'll then actually be different from the last. :)
