First the avatars in the comments.
Now the facebook profile page-like channels.....
Next will probably be a friends list or an easier way to update subscribers, like with a status update or something

Well Youtube basically is one, that`s what it`s meant to be, a social media site.

You pretty much needed image-maps anyway.... because or else you`d have to individually find out the pixels/location of each piece of text which would take hours....

I don't like this Being a partner used to be so prestigious and all. Now, we won't even be able to tell the difference. Dumb change imo. The new pages also look kind of bland. As a GFX artist on the side of my gaming channel, I don't like it. GFX channels will have virtually no point.

I think that IS the point. The people who started early had an advantage. Now it's all about content, because no one has anything special, so you really have to make sure your content is good.
