Make sure to include your logo/channel name and some screenshots of what games you play as well as maybe a slogan or something. I paid for my background instead, but it was only £7

Okay banners are cool and all but it should reflect your brand as a YouTuber. Do not fall into the pit of kids taking unoriginal images and pasting them into your banner template for upload. Decide on a theme for all your social media venues and then expand from there. There are a ton of great tutorials that can help you run through how to make a "QUALITY" banner.
