Background Music

it really depends on what kind of video it is, if its supposed to be a more funny sarcastic video I add some silly bg music but I don't make it louder than my voice I put it up just enough to where you can hear it but its not annoying, but some people dont like it some do. I think it does make watching the video a bit more fun because its not just a person talking in silence you have something extra there you know. I just did a video with bg music and a couple of them have it some don't so its all on what you feel good about.
 
If used right, a certain track of background music can set a mood in the video, be creative to set a mood by using good fitting background music, remind that the music should be SUPPORTING meaning it should be not too loud.
 
I think it mostly depends what type of music you're using & whether it is the best choice for your video. It is important however to not have the music too loud as it does overpower your voice :)
 
Iv only recently started to add background music to my videos because I feel like it fills the audio and sometimes even the video a bit more. It takes away some of the blankness when your doing commentaries and also I enjoy personally listening to music in the background it just sounds nice IMO
 
I personally like background music, quiet, non-agressive background music, Nothing too tinny or loud, especially if its quiet in some parts and loud in others..
I think background music makes a video feel more friendly, and it's great for setting the mood of a video, want a video to seem serious? Use some calm music, want to make your video sound happy? Use som poppy happy music (maybe guitar music ec)

anyway, I vote yes for bg music!
