Awkward to Vlog?

Personally, Facebook was one of the first place I shared my videos, and it has worked out great and I've gotten some incredibly surprising reactions from people.

You might be surprised at the kind of reaction you might get from friends and family when you put yourself out there like that. If your friends do start mocking you for it, then I guess they're not really your friends then are they?

I was in your shoes not too long ago. Getting sick of the gaming scene and felt I would be better at vlogging and interacting with people on a more personal level which I did.

I regards to my friends finding out. I didn't hide it. The first video I made and uploaded I sent it to them. Removed the awkwardness, told them straight up this is what I am going to do. At the start of course they laughed and made jokes. 2 months in with 150+ subs they actually watch my content and tell me to do more that they really enjoy it.

Don't hide it dude, if its something you really want to do and have a passion for don't let a bit of laughing and mocking throw you off. Just sit back and watch the subs and views role in and see what they say then.

I'm new to vlogging but not new to video. Video was very awkward at first but it becomes second nature after doing it awhile. My best advice is to not give a s**t what other people think. Let your unique personality shine. You will have haters but who cares. You will have people fall in love with ya:)

Just face the awkwardness and make the videos you want to make. It gets easier over time - I don't even think about the fact that a lot of my friends watch my videos. Most of them have said they're really funny and they think I'm "internet famous." Haha.

It's really only awkward for me if someone is watching my videos while I'm in the room.
