Averages?!

Right so say you click on someones youtube and you see they have like, 90,000 total views and you're like wow.... Then you click on their videos and notice they have around 300 videos uploaded. This means that each video probably doesn't have the views you expected them too right?

I mean I bet we all look at someones channel and judge by the total number before actually checking fully.

I have 25,000 total views, well just above and 26 uploads. This means I have around an average of 900 and something per video. Well one video has 3,000 views some obviously have a lot less, but I mean what I'm trying to say is that you could look at someones channel and assume they were doing better than someone elses because of their total views when in reality the one with less total views is doing better because they have more views per video and more subs, where as the others only add up because there are so many videos.

Do I even make sense?

makes sense to me ^_^ hmm I don't think i judge someone though D: but i get what you're saying. I suppose it is best to have a low amount of uploads to large views ratio haha ^_^.

I may have worded that slightly wrong, I don't mean judging a person, I'm not that horrid lol I just mean you think something else of their channel until you look further I guess

i suppose it depends on how much competition they have. How many people will be uploading that video and have they been around longer. Will they be on the first page or not.

On peoples youtube channels there a tabs, like videos etc then about, its in the about section, also on a phone its just there on their page automatically- well some phones anyway

haha np Just what I read D:! Yeah that's fine I get ya I suppose I just try and not read too much into channel stats anyway cause I am a competitive person and I don't want to turn youtube into a competition for me cause I enjoy it not being one in my eyes!
