Average Youtube Audience -.-

I'm actually really jealous of the kids these days. They have the internet, they become open to so many worlds and so many people. All the opportunities are laid down in front of them with just a few clicks. That's why more and more kids are going to youtube and literally every site out there.

If the internet was there when I was a kid, I would've jumped on that immediately and dropped my dream of being a physician. Now I can't really back out from that so it sucks.
I really hope that's not the mindset of kids these days or we're in for a heap of b******t in the future.

"I'll become a YouTube star! f**k being a doctor!"

haha! I'm just saying. Being from the Philippines, you're never really given the chance to take risks when it comes to your career. By being a filmmaker (which is my secondary dream) or going into anything art or music, you're literally just pushing yourself of a cliff. You should either be a nurse or a doctor or lawyer if you want something to eat every month and pay your bills.

Now during that time, there was no youtube, you had no way of sharing your content and to get into the film business you need to have relatives in it which a lot of us do not. Considering how the movie industry is in such an abysmal state locally, there really isn't much potential there if you want to be sustainable.

I think a lot of people just have young voices and just look young. I am in college and compared to in the early 2000s when I visited by friends brother at college people just seem to look younger. Compare highschoolers now to what they looked like in the 90s for example. They look and sound much younger.
