Average edit time on videos

Just wondering because mine take a long time, my kost recent took 30+ hours to edit, including one 18 hour unbroken session. I think that's probably just related to the kinds of videos I make though, just wondering what everyone elses averages are
 
Average is around 1 week of edit.

Can't give exact hours because i don't count haha, But the video edit we record on Saturday then i edit the big next Saturday video over the next week and the Wednesday video over 3 days when i have spare time.
 
30 minutes to two hours, average about an hour and 15 minutes. sometimes i'm slowed down if i need to record some cutaway footage, so it might take up to three hours as i procrastinate a lot.

It is so refreshing to see a well-made video from this forum!

Thank you! I did work really hard on it, and that's sort of why I wanted to find out the sort of times everyone else were taking to make videos.
 
Totally depends on the video. If its relatively short and turns out exactly as I'd intended, it can take as little as an hour or 2. However, if it didn't turn out as good/funny as I'd hoped, I'll chip away at it over a few days (maybe even a week). Could end up putting up to 10 hours or more if that's the case. A couple of bigger projects, though, have taken weeks.
I'd say on average though, I'm probably looking at 3-5 hours for most videos.
 
If I'm non stop editing start to end, it takes me around 2 hours in average for the kind of videos that I make.

I think everybody here should stick to hours when talking about time of editing because when somebody says that they took a week it looks like they have been editing for 12 hours a day for 7 days, which it can happen in some cases but it can also be that they edit on the first day for an hour and the got some footage a couple days after and finish the editing calling it a 4 days editing which in reality they were editing for about 2 hours.
In big projects some people may spend 10 to 12 hours a day for a month, but you will never know unless they specify how many hours a day, if someone says It took them a month to edit, its very vague.
 
I'm a gaming channel so editing time really depends on the type of game I am playing. Story driven games with lots of action..well they take the least amount of time to edit cuz who wants to miss that stuff! lol Puzzle driven games..now those take a loong time to edit, because i feel i have to make them atleast funny, and not to mention THE CUTS ah my god i am not good at puzzles guys lol Puzzle games take like..maybe a couple to 3 hours to edit.
