Hey i use my speakers in my computer to record my audio. The only problems i have are when i record i get this sound that is coming from my fan in my computer and it picks up the audio and for some reason i cannot remove it in audacity. So i thought i would ask what would be a cheap mic that might help my problem or maybe if their is a way to fix this somehow? Thanks and i bye :D

There are ways to record your computer audio without having to play it through your speakers first. What software are you using to record?

So, let me see if I understand properly. To record your game audio, you're basically putting your microphone up near the speakers of your computer. Is that right?

If so, you should look into a way to record the game audio directly from the computer, without needing speakers or a mic (though you'll need speakers if you want to hear the audio too!). For example, you can google "fraps record game audio" or something of that nature. Imagine it this way:

What you're doing: Game has audio --> Audio is played through speakers --> Lots of interfering things like fan sounds --> Recorded by mic

What I'm suggesting you do: Game has audio --> Software records that audio --> Audio is played through speakers
