Audio On Camera

I have a sl100 canon, I don't have a mic right now but I use the audio microphone built in.
Would you recommend doing this?

Hey!

I also have the Canon Sl1 (100D) and the built-in mic is good for certain things, but for the most part, your audio will not be crisp. You want to buy a variety of things than can help your audio. For example, if you do documentary work, buy lav mics from amazon. They are super cheap. For versatility, buy a shotgun mic that attaches to the camera.

I use a H2N Zoom since you can record from anywhere straight onto an SD card. I've never heard good audio from a camera.

Not really, good audio is really crucial. In your video, the audio isn't terrible, but it definitely isn't the best.. Now it's not unusable; if it's all you got then you just gotta make the best of it. However, if you can I suggest that you get an external mic (shotgun mic is probably the easiest way to go).
